Indenture made Sep't 27, 1750 between John Lewis Carpenter of Bertie and Jacob 
Lewis, for 10 pounds land in Bertie adjacent to the north side of Wiccacon 
Creek containing 96 acres.
Witnesses: John Harrell and joseph Harrell
Registered: August Court 1751
