Witnesses: John Wynns and Sarah Wynns. Proved: May Court 1742. Bk F, pg 470 Indenture made 18 Dec 1741 between William Wynns and Eleazar Quimby both of Bertie, for 170 pounds land in Bertie upon the southern side of Wiccacon Creek adjacent to Gum Creek, William Sharps corner, William Downing, neck of land called the White Oak Neck, Goose Creek containing 50 acres. Witness: James Hooker. Registered: May Court 1742. Bk F, pg 525 Indenture made 20 Feb 1743 between Eleazer Quimby and Anne his wife of Bertie of the one part and Isaac Lasiter of the county of Virginia, for 20 pounds Virginia current money land in Bertie adjacent to Wm Sharps corner tree near the head of Goose Creek, Wiccacon Creek, northern point of White Oak Neck containing 50 acres. Anne Quimby privaely examined. Witnesses: John Wynns and Isaac Hill. Registered: May Court 1744. Bk F, pg 512 Indenture made 11 Aug 1743 between William Sharp of Bertie in consideration of the love good will and affection which I have unto Jane Quimby of sd precinct "Widow" I do bequeath a parcel of land in Bertie on the SS of Wiccacon Creek commonly called the Indian old field containing 6 acres. Witnesses: Jno Wynns and Mary Quimby. Registered: Aug't Court 1743. Bk L, pg 74 Indenture made October 9, 1766 between William Lewis and Mourning Lewis his wife of Dobbs County of the first part and Eleazer Quimby Mariner of the other part, for 16 pounds land in Bertie on the Tumbling Branch which said land was bequeath to Mourning Vanpelt now wife of said William Lewis by her grandfather Hendrick Vanpelt containing 250 acres. Witnesses: John Freeman and James Freeman Registered: March Court 1767 Bk L, pg 210 Indenture made 11 May 1769 between Eleazer Quimby mariner and Lewis Baulch of Bertie, for 20 pounds land in Bertie on Tumbling Branch adjacent to Jacob Lassiters line containing 250 acres.
