Indenture made Feb'y 25, 1726 between James Speir and Ann his wife of the one 
part and William Curlee of the other part all of Bertie Precinct, for 40 
pounds land in Bertie at a place called Ahotskey Ridge containing 300 acres.
Witnesses: Thos Bonner, Jno Speirs, Terrence Conner and Jno Sutton
