Pipkin, Isaac, Captain
Company G, 31st Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Hertford County and enlisted at age 26. Appointed 1st Lieutenant on 
September 2, 1861. Captured at Roanoke Island on February 8, 1862. Paroled at 
Elizabeth City on February 21, 1862. Promoted to Captain on or about September 
17, 1862. Present or accounted for through December, 1864. Resigned on or 
about January 24, 1865. Reason he resigned not reported.
