II, P. 8 JULIA BOND ACREE A funeral service for Mrs. Julia Bond Acree, 87, of 714 Bowling St., was held Friday at W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Donald Trump. Burial was in Poplar Spring Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Kiser, Albert Terry, James Fullagan, John Jackson, Leon Comstock and Bob Thompson. A native of Hertford County, N.C., she lived in this area 30 years. She was the widow of Walter Thomas Acree and a daughter of John and Mrs. Bettie Jane Newsome Bond. She was a member of South Quay Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, W.L.
