ANNIE E. BARNACASCEL

   Mrs. Annie E. Barnacascel widow of the late J.B. Barnacascel of Murfreesboro, 
died early yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Richmond Peters, 
Jr. with whom she had made her home here for the past twelve years. Mrs. 
Barnacascel was ill only a few days, and a peculiarly distressing feature of her 
death is that her daughter, Mrs. Peters, is ill in a Norfolk hospital at this 
time. She was a woman of exemplary Christian character, a faithful member of the 
Murfreesboro Baptist Church for many years, and had made many friends during her 
residence in our town. Besides her daughter, she leaves one grandchild, Annie 
Peters, and one brother, K.E. Butler of Spencer, N.C.

    Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the 
Murfreesboro Baptist Church by the Rev. R.D. Stephenson, assisted by Dr. W.R. 
Burrell of the Murfreesboro Church, and interment will made in the cemetery in 
that town. The active pallbearers will be: Thos. B. Wynn, M.E. Worrell, Hon. 
Lloyd J. Lawrence, B.B. Winborne, W.C. Ferguson and Herman Babb of Murfreesboro, 
Dr. R.H. Cobb and Paul Scarborough of Franklin.
