AULANDER - Antoinette Blowe Blowe age 93 of the 900 Block Hwy 561 West, 
Aulander, died Friday, August 29, 2008 at Guardian Care of Ahoskie. She was 
born in Hertford County on June 15, 1915, the daughter of the late Albert 
Julian Blowe and Helen Rose Blowe. She was married to the late Luther Wesley  
Blowe Sr.

She was a homemaker and a very active member of St. John Baptist Church where 
she loved singing in the choir.

A Celebration of her life service will be held Sunday, August 31, 2008 at 3 PM 
at St. John Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Ahoskie Cemetery. Rev. 
Gilbert Crawford and Rev. Woody Copeland will officiate.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, daughters Shirley Blowe Waters of 
Powellsville and Ann Blowe Moore of St. Johns, sons Luther Wesley Blowe, Jr. 
and his wife Melba of St. Johns, Dwight Blowe and his wife Phyllis of Conway 
and Jerry Blowe and his wife Kathy of Winton, a sister Margaret Lee of 
Raleigh, 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 4 great great 
grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Elbert Wesley Blowe.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30 PM at the 
Garrett Funeral Home-Ashley Chapel, 205 NC Hwy 42 West, Ahoskie, NC 27910.

Memorials can be made to St. John Baptist Church, 1644 Hwy 461, Ahoskie, NC 
27910.

Garrett Funeral Home-Ashley Chapel is serving the Blowe family.
