A, P. 10 WORTH BAGLEY EDWARDS A funeral service for Worth (Shorty) Bagley Edwards, 69, of RFD #3, Box 349, Franklin, was held Thursday at 3:30 p.m. in W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. James Luck. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, N.C. Pallbearers were Herman Eley, Billy Beale, William Howell Jr., W.M. Brown, Aubrey Lankford, T. Hays Holland, C Joyner and Hunter Darden Jr. Edwards died Tuesday, June 27 at 3 a.m. in Obici Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Hertford County, N.C., he was a son of Sam and Mrs. Daisey Holloman Edwards and the husband of Mrs. Lillian Warren Edwards. He was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church and before his retirement he operated Four Brothers Café for 29 years. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn E. Jones of Smithfield; one sister, Mrs. Fannie E. Revelle of Roanoke Rapids; two brothers, Andrew S. Futrell of Wilmington, N.C. and George E. Holloman of Jacksonville, N.C. and two grandchildren.
