Ferguson, 87, Died Sunday Morning: Rev. Chas. E. Vale Officiates Murfreesboro, Feb. 13 - Mrs. Callie Worrell Ferguson, age 87, widow of Fenton F. Ferguson, died early Sunday morning, February 11, at her home in Murfreesboro. Mrs. Ferguson is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Thomas H. Debman of Suffolk; two sons, W.C. Ferguson of Murfreesboro, and E.C. Ferguson of Suffolk; a brother, Kenny B. Worrell of Suffolk; thirteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Mrs. Ferguson was a member of the Murfreesboro Methodist Church. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at her home in Murfreesboro by the pastor the Rev. C.E. Vale. During the service a quartet composed of Messrs. M.T. Moye, C.E. Vale, M.E. Worrell and Haygood Hill sang "Abide With Me" and "In the Sweet By and By." The active pallbearers were D.F. Payne, W.P. Futrell, W.E. Deanes, H.L. Evans, E.N. Evans, V.J. Liverman, E.N. Nicholson, and George Britt. The honorary pallbearers were Fred Debnam, Bill Debnam, Edwin Ferguson, Blackwell Cross, Finton Ferguson, Haygood Hill, Edwin Evans and Jack Liverman. Burial was held in the family cemetery at Murfreesboro.
