REALIOUS OSCAR HILL

   HOLLAND  - Realious Oscar Hill, 84 years of age died Monday morning in the 
home of his daughter Mrs. Sarah H. Carr after an illness of many months. Mr. Hill 
was a native of Hertford County, N.C., he had made his home in Holland for the 
past twenty-five years. He was a member of the Buckhorn Baptist Church.

 He was the husband of Mrs. Lucy Bland Hill and the son of Joseph Wellons and 
Mrs. Gattie Howell Hill of Hertford County, N.C.

   Surviving him besides his daughter are one son Philip Bland Hill of Suffolk, 
two daughters, Mrs. Rachel H. Bush of Norfolk and Mrs. Audrey H. Edwards of 
Roanoke. One brother Guy C. Hill, Como, N.C. and two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Taylor of 
Winston, N.C. and Mrs. S.C.  Ten children and four great grandchildren.

   A funeral service was conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of W.J.M. 
Holland and Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Carl Lee Ousley, pastor of the Holland 
Baptist Church. Burial was in Buckhorn Church Cemetery, Como, N.C.
