CLARENCE LEE HOLLAND

THE TIDEWATER NEWS – 08-02-1965, P. 2

   HANDSOM – Clarence Lee Holland, 75, died Friday at 11:40 a.m. in his home.

   A native of Southampton County, he was a son of Joseph Goodwin and Mrs. 
Edith Rebecca Bowles Holland and the husband of Mrs. Jessie Griffith Holland. 
He was a farmer and a member of New Hope Methodist.

   Besides his wife, he is survived by nieces and nephews.

   The body was taken of W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, where a funeral 
service was held Sunday at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Robert E. Abbott.  Burial was in 
the family cemetery near Como, N.C.

   Pallbearers were Hugh Barrett, Oscar Spruill, Ashby Darden, James Dunlow, 
Leon Minton, Cobel Hurst.
