CORA MAE HOLLEMAN

   Mrs. Cora Mae Holleman, a native of North Carolina and a resident of Zuni 
for the past 50 years, died Thursday, April 28, at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Julia Bissett, after an illness of many months. She was 79 years of age.

   Mrs. Holleman was the daughter of the late John R. and Sarah Holleman 
Outland of North Carolina, and widow of Edward Sidney Holleman of Zuni. She 
was a member of the Tucker Swamp Baptist Church.

   Besides Mrs. Bissett she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Helen L. 
Jones of Miami, Fla.; four grandchildren; two brothers, R.W. Outland of 
Norfolk and J.R. Outland of Murfreesboro; and a number of nieces and nephews.

   Funeral services for Mrs. Holleman were conducted at the Bethany 
Presbyterian Church on Zuni two o’clock Sunday afternoon by Rev. L.E. 
Holzbach, pastor of Tucker Swamp Baptist Church. Interment was in the cemetery 
at Antioch Christian Church. Active pallbearers were E.L. Rowell, O.E. 
Bradshaw, W.H. Crocker, Paul Joyner, Paul Clayton, W.J. Joyner, R.A. Raney and 
R.J. Turner.
