THELMA EUGENIA STORY JENKINS

   A funeral service for Mrs. Thelma Story Jenkins was conducted at 2:30 p.m. 
Wednesday in W.J.M. Holland & Sons Funeral by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial 
was in Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, N.C.

   Pallbearers were Eugene Bunn, G.T. Whitehurst Jr., Bob Miles, Walter Clark, 
J.T. Johnson, Franklin Dunn and Foushee Railey.

   Mrs. Jenkins, 65, of 506 South St. died Monday morning in Southampton 
Memorial Hospital.

   A native of Como, N.C., she lived here 11 years.

   She was the wife of Paul H. Jenkins and a daughter of James A. and Mrs. Maude 
Bunn Story.

   She was a member of Franklin Baptist Church.

   Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Paul Ronald Jenkins of 
Murfreesboro, N.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Ashley D. Lankford of Franklin; a sister, 
Mrs. Florrie Whitehurst of Virginia Beach; four grandchildren and a great-
grandchild.
