MARTHA ANN J. HOLLAND LEE

MRS. MARTHA H. LEE

   Mrs. Martha Holland Lee, 89, widow of John Henry Lee of Winton, N.C. died at 
the home in Franklin of her cousin, Mrs. Ernest K. Brinkley, on Sunday night, 
April 27, after several years of falling health.

   The deceased was the daughter of the late Henry and Mrs. Nancy Howell Holland 
of Nansemond County. She was a member of the Winton Baptist Church.

   Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. C.W. Byrd of Holland and Mrs. C.E. Eure 
of Roduco, N.C.; a granddaughter, Mrs. T.A. McGinnis of Savannah, Ga.; and 
nephews and nieces.

   Funeral services were conducted at the grave in Riverside Cemetery, 
Murfreesboro, N.C., on Tuesday morning at 11 o’clock, with Rev. T.W. Lee of 
Durham, N.C., a retired minister, officiating.

   Pallbearers were Ernest Byrd, Wesley Byrd, Charles Eure, Gordon Eure, Joe 
Henry Gardner, Lloyd Gardner and Jack G. Holland.
