   DIED, on the 31st of October, at his seat in Hertford County, after an 
extreme illness of eight days, ROBERT MONTGOMERY, ESQ., in the 51st year of 
his age, Senator from that County in the Legislature, in which capacity he has 
served with fidelity; a man of much worth.
