DAISY PARKER MOORE

   Mrs. Daisy Parker Moore, 77, wife of the late Charles Clement Moore of 
Hertford County, N.C., died at the home in Como of her sister, Mrs. J.H. Barnes, 
on Monday night, May 25th.

   The deceased was the daughter of the late J.B. and Laodicea Porter Parker of 
Hertford County. Since an early age she had been a member of Buckhorn Baptist 
Church.

   Surviving her are a son, James Edward Moore of Norfolk, and a daughter, Miss 
Lottie Olivia Moore of Como, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. R. Sewell and Mrs. J.C. 
Chitty of Murfreesboro, N.C., Mrs. P.A. Jones of Franklin, and Mrs. J.H. Barnes 
of Como; and one brother, J.J. Parker of Murfreesboro.

   Final rites for Mrs. Moore were conducted at Buckhorn Baptist Church on 
Wednesday afternoon at 3 o’clock by Revs. J.E. Lanier and J.F. Colston. 
Interment was in the church cemetery, the pallbearers being Thomas Bowles, 
Godwin Britt, Elvin Curl, Guy C. Hill, Foushee Railey, Dick Taylor, Stuart Tripp 
and Linwood Whitley.
