EUGENIA VICTORIA CURRY NELMS

   Mrs. Eugenia Victoria Nelms, aged 75, a sister of Mrs. Alice Norris of 
Franklin, died in a Norfolk hospital Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock 
following a brief illness. The daughter of the late Davis A. and Sophie Curry, 
and a native of Hertford County, N.C., Mrs. Nelms had lived in Norfolk for the 
past 35 years.

   Besides Mrs. Norris here, she is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Albion G. 
Jeffery of Elmhurst, N.Y.; a son, Horace D. Nelms of Norfolk; a brother, Claude 
Curry of Suffolk; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

   Mrs. Nelms was a member of Park Place Methodist Church, Norfolk. Services 
will be conducted at the Ewell and Williamson Funeral Home, 35th St. at Colonial 
Ave. Norfolk, Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment will take place in Cedar 
Hill Cemetery, Suffolk.
