RICHMOND HENRY PETERS, JR.

  LAUREL, MD - Richmond Henry Peters, Jr., 73, of Apt. 510 200 Fort Meade Road 
died Wednesday in Holy Cross hospital Silver Springs, Md.

  A native of Franklin, he had resided in Laurel for the past five years.

  He was the husband of Mrs. Annie B. Peters and the son of the late Richmond 
Henry Peters Sr., and Mrs. Eugenia Person Peters.

  He was retired from Southern Railway and United Insurance Company. He was a 
member of Laurel Baptist Church, a Mason, a member of Knights of Pythias and the 
Order of Railway Telegraphers.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Anne Peters McClennon of Silver Springs, 
Md.; two sisters, Mrs. Ellen Bolton of Finncastle and Mrs. Lucille Carpenter of 
Largo, Fla.; a brother, R. Worth Peters of Charlottesville, three grandchildren 
and two foster grandchildren.

  A funeral service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. in chapel of W.J.M. Holland and 
Sons Funeral Home by the Rev. Ira D. Hudgins. Burial will be in Riverside 
Cemetery, Murfreesboro, N.C.
