PATTIE SUE EDWARDS HOWELL POPE

   Mrs. Pattie Sue Pope died December 30, 1927, in her twenty-eighth year 
after an illness of about twelve months. Mrs. Pope was born near Como and 
lived there until six years ago she moved to Newsoms. She was first married to 
Herbert Howell of Como and six years ago she was married to Willie G. Pope of 
this community.

   Mrs. Pope was a consistent member of Buckhorn Baptist Church. She is 
survived by her husband and four children, besides many relatives and friends.

   The funeral services were held at the home by Dr. G.H. Oliver, assisted by 
Rev. R.H. Marks. Interment was made in the Newsoms cemetery.
