ROBERT ELDRIDGE ROGERS

   SEVERN, N.C. – A funeral service for Robert Eldridge Rogers was conducted 
Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Severn cemetery by the Rev. Wallace T. Greene of Sharon 
Methodist Church. McDowell Funeral Home was in charge.

   Pallbearers were Garland Barnes, Dudley Barnes, Howard Barnes, John Heller, 
Rod Jordon, Alvin Bridges, Royal Watson and Wayne Summers.

   Rogers, 76, died Monday morning in his home.

   A native of Northampton County, he was a son of Jessie V. and Mrs. Lelia E. 
Turner Rogers.

   He was a retired farmer. 

   He is survived by a brother, Howard Cade Rogers of Severn.
