LINA BRYANT SIMMONS

   FRANKLIN – A funeral for Lina Simmons, 92, was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in 
Wright Funeral by the Revs. J. Blaine Blubaugh and Harry W. Bunch. Burial was in 
Poplar Spring Cemetery.

   Simmons died Saturday in Southampton Memorial Hospital.

   She was a native of Como, N.C., and the widow of Jim V. Simmons.

   She was a member of Boykins United Methodist Church and the United Methodist 
Women.

   Survivors include two sisters, Odel B. Simmons of Franklin and Aileen B. 
Zehrbach of Hampton, and nieces and nephews.
