RETTA VANN HART STEWART

   BOYKINS – A funeral service for Mrs. Retta V. Hart Stewart was conducted at 2 
p.m. Monday in Boykins Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben B. Ussery. Burial was in 
Beechwood Cemetery with McDowell Funeral Home in charge.

   Pallbearers were W.H. Powell Jr., George Davis, O.W. Kirkland, R.T. Lassiter 
Jr., R.A. Bunn, and Malcolm Coleman.

   Mrs. Stewart, 68, died Saturday in a Portsmouth hospital.

   A native of Hertford County, N.C., she was a daughter of John Drew and Mary 
LittleHart and the widow of Roy R. Stewart.

   She was a member of Boykins Baptist Church.

   She is survived by stepson, Roy C. Stewart of Dendron.
