JAMES ADAM STOREY

   NORFOLK - James Adam Storey, 71, of 737 Wiley Dr., died Wednesday at 9:50 
a.m. in a Norfolk hospital after several months of declining health.

   He was the husband of Mrs. Mary B. Storey, and a son of William and Mrs. 
Rebecca Howell Storey, both natives of Hertford County, N.C.

   A native of Hertford County, Mr. Storey lived in Suffolk for several years 
and in 1951 moved to Norfolk. He was a member of Buckhorn Baptist Church of 
Como.

   Besides his wife, surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Frances S. Gray and 
Mrs. Elsie S. Crawley, both of Norfolk and Mrs. Helen S. McClenny of Carrsville; 
a half brother, Guy Storey of Norfolk and three grandchildren and nieces and 
nephews.

   Funeral services were conducted at Buckhorn Baptist Church, Como, Friday at 3 
p.m. by the Rev. Edwin C. Thornton, Jr., pastor of Beaver Dam Baptist Church. 
Burial was in Buckhorn Church cemetery.
