HATTIE BELL VAUGHAN VAUGHAN

   AHOSKIE, N.C. – Mrs. Carl Vaughan, 70, died suddenly Thursday morning after 
an illness of 12 years.

   She was a daughter of the late Robert Cobb Vaughan and the late Linda 
Carter Vaughan, and the widow of the late Carl B. Vaughan.

   She was a native of Hertford County and a member of St. Johns Baptist 
Church.

   Survivors include 2 daughters, Mrs. Cola Harrison of Ahoskie and Mrs. 
Robert Rideout of Franklin, Va.

  Funeral services were held Saturday in the St. John’s Baptist Church by the 
Rev. Boyce Kimball and the Rev. W.E. Carter. Burial was in Ahoskie Cemetery.
