Mr. Worrell was the son of the late Dr. Cyrus and Letia Beale Worrell of Hertford County, and was a member of the New Hope Methodist Church near Como. He is survived by several cousins, Mrs. Christie Saunders and Miss Emily Barnes of Statesville, Mrs. E.R. Bonniville of Miami, Fla., Mrs. E.M. Darden of Norfolk, and Mrs. Arthur H. Pettigrew of Richmond. Funeral services for Mr. Worrell were conducted from New Hope Church on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock by his pastor, Rev. R.B. Moore, assisted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson of Franklin and Rev. R.H. Shapland of Smithfield. Interment was in the family cemetery near Como, the active pallbearers being R.A. Majette, Rufus C. Brett, Robert Earl Askew, Roswell Hart, Dennis L. Brett, J.V. Simmons, E.W. Evans and Ashley Warren.
