Fowler, died April 18 in her 50th year at her home in the Como community. On February 2, 1902 she was married to L.T. Worrell, and to this union were born three children all of whom survive her, Linwood Worrell of Franklin, Mrs. Helen Worrell Whitley and Miss Mildred Worrell of Como. She also leaves three brothers and four sisters: W.R. Fowler and G.R. Fowler of Newsoms, J.D. Fowler, Mrs. P.H. Drake and Mrs. Claude Bryant of Franklin, Mrs. L.C. Cutchins and Mrs. G.H. Ellis of Newsoms. The funeral services were conducted at her home by her Pastor, Rev. L.E. Dailey of Newsoms, assisted by Rev. L.F. Paulette of Smithfield. The active pallbearers were: J.D., W.R. and G.R. Fowler, Wallace, Fletcher and Rufus Worrell, P.H. Drake and Ralph Porter. The honorary bearers were: E.F. Drake, Clifford A. Cutchins, Jr., L.A. Whitley, John Worrell, Newbern Ellis, Jim Whitley, Jr., Joe Worrell, G.H. Ellis, R.S. Maddrey, Lloyd Bryant, J.D. Kitchen, Warren Kitchen, H.A. Brett and Joe Brett. Interment took place in the family cemetery. A large assemblage of people was present bearing testimony to her popularity and the esteem in which she was held. She was a faithful and devoted member of Sunbeam Baptist Church, her loved ones and intimate friends being abundantly justified in the belief that their loss is her eternal gain.
