LOCKIE THOMAS WORRELL

LOCKIE THOMAS WORRELL, FARMER OF HERTFORD COUNTY, DIES SATURDAY

   Lockie Thomas Worrell, Hertford County farmer, died at the age of 53 last 
Saturday afternoon at Lakeview Hospital, Suffolk, after a brief illness.

   Mr. Worrell is survived by a son, Linwood Worrell of Franklin; two daughters, 
Mrs. Jim Whitley and Miss Mildred Worrell of Como, N.C.; five brothers, Wallace, 
J.F., R.N. and W.F. Worrell of Como and J.S. Worrell of Newsoms, and two 
sisters, Mrs. Carrie Porter of Newsoms and Miss Mary Worrell of Como.

   Funeral services were held at the home in the Como community Sunday afternoon 
at 3:00 o’clock, conducted by the Rev. L.E Dailey. Interment was made in the 
family cemetery, the active pallbearers being L.A. Whitley, John Beale, Warren 
Kitchen, J.F. Cunningham, E.F. Drake, E.N. Bryant, Rosser Bryant and G.V. 
Whitley.
