EMILY INEZ BAILEY ZIMMERMAN

   Mrs. Emily Inez Zimmerman, age 37 years, a resident of the Como, N.C., 
community, died at her home on Thursday night, April 17, after an illness of 
several months.

   Mrs. Zimmerman was the daughter of Frank C. and Annie Harcum Bailey of 
Hertford County, N.C., and a member of the Buckhorn Baptist Church of Como.

   She is survived by her husband, Conrad John Zimmerman, and one son, Leonard 
John Zimmerman, both of Como; seven brothers, Clifton and Robert Bailey of 
Franklin, Harvey and Waverly Bailey of Norfolk, and Olie Harcum and Howard 
Bailey of Como; three sisters, Mrs. Jimmie Davis and Mrs. Cecil Jenkins of 
Portsmouth and Mrs. Milton Worrell of Newsoms; besides a number of nieces and 
nephews.

   Funeral services were held from the Holland Funeral Home, Franklin, at 3:30 
o’clock on Saturday afternoon, Rev. Randolph L. Gregory officiating. Interment 
was in the Sycamore church cemetery near Franklin.
