Will of Henry Goodman
Written: 25 Apr 1783 - Proved May Court 1783

To son William Goodman a piece of land joining a plantation he purchased
from Phillip Pipkin, 10 acres

To son Joel Goodman my plantation I now liveth on and all my land belonging
to it, only the piece I give to his brother William before mentioned

To my relation Betsey Bethey daughter to my granddaughter Charity Gatlen
wife of William Gatlen one Nego woman named Luce, one feather bed and
furniture, one heifer of two years old, one sow and pigs, one iron pot,
one puter dish and bason, three puter plates and six sppons, one pair of 
cotten cards, one wooling wheel, one linen wheel, one hackell, one chest, 
one small table, half the crop that grows on my plantation of every kind
and if she dies before she is possessed of the above then it is to be 
divided among all my children hereafter named

To all the remainder part of my estate divided among my eight children; 
Ann Bethey, William Goodman, Rose Brown, Henry Goodman, Timothy Goodman, 
Sarah Bethey, Joel Goodman and Charity Pipkin

Appoint son Joel Goodman executor
