John Linton SWINDELL (b.c. 1780-94, d.13 Feb. 1847) was married to Rebecca Martin BROOKS, the dau. of William and Martha FORMAN Brooks. The parents of John Linton SWINDELL are unknown at this time. Known children are: Frederick R., Caleb B., Leroy Merritt and John Bell N. SWINDELL. Tilson Gibbon CREDLE (b. 14 Apr. 1807, d. 20 Dec. 1874) was the son of William and Margaret BROOKS CREDLE. His wives were 1-Mary Ann VEAL, 2-Mrs. Lurana GIBBS MIDYETT, and 3-Mrs. Agnes SPENCER SAUNDERSON. His known children are: George Veal, Tilson G., Mozelle, Arabella N., Elizabeth, Eleanor, Sidney Ann, Lois A., Sophia Sanderson, Susan J., Margaret Buffaloe, twins William and Edward S., Isaih R., and Milton Selby CREDLE. John WHITE (b.c. 1795-1805, d.c. 1839), the son of Henry WHITE, was married to Rachel -----------. His daughters were: Mary Eleanor and Nancy B. WHITE. Abram (Abraham) BOOMER (b. 1801, d. 1864) was the son of Nathan and Sarah ---- BOOMER. He was married to Mahala ----. Their children were: Zachariah, Sarah E., Nathan, and William Samuel BOOMER. William CAHOON (b. 11 Oct. 1788, d.30 Jan. 1858) was the son of William and Mary --- CAHOON. He was married to 1-Nancy ENSLEY,, and 2-Adaline BURRUS. His children were: Mary Ann and Martha Ann CAHOON. Henry Gibbs HARRIS (b. 1808, d.-----) was the son of Jonathan and Cassandra GIBBS HARRIS. He was married to Sarah B. SWINDELL by whom he had six children: Amasa MILLER, Isaih, James Henry, Sarah A., Martha Ann, and William Valentine HARRIS. Christopher GIBBS (probably Christopher Columbus GIBBS) (b. 8 Apr. 1808, d. 31 May 1874), the son of Washington and Agnes SPENCER GIBBS, was married to Elizabeth BONNER. Their children were: William Bengman, John Bonner, Mary Louise, Selby B., Mary (Polly), Isaih, Christopher Columbus, Jr., Nancy, Britana, and Dorcas E. GIBBS. Timothy (Murray) FISHER b. 5 May 1815, d. 26 Jan. 1896), the son of dAVID AND hEYSYBETH ----- FISHER, was married to Sarah Orpha GIBBS, Their children were: Samuel Lincoln, William J., James Robinson, David Henry, Lizzie A., Nancy B., Mary Elizabeth, Benjamin F., and Martha FISHER. Joseph Swindell (b. 24 Mar. 1813, d. 14 Dec. 1868) was the son of William and Sarah DIXON SWINDELL. He was married to Sarah Ann Gibbs, the dau. of Samuel and Sarah Henry GIBBS, and had the following children: Amanda, James D., Maryu J., Sarah, Virginia, Joseph Anna, William Alexander, Orpha Shanklin, Emma, William Benners, Elizabeth Matilda, and possibly Richard SWINDELL. Bartlet Sawyer. No identification on this family. William FISHER (b. 2 May 1815, d. 9 Apr. 1862), the son of Roberson and Sally BENSTON FISHER, was married to Jane CREDLE. Their children were: William F., Clara Jane, Sarah A., and Stella Vandalia FISHER. Henry WHITE (b. 1805, c. after 1850), the son of Luke Henry WHITE, was married to Dorcas BROOKS. Their children were: Alexander B., Henry Clay, Edward Brooks, Susan, and Patsey WHITE. John Smith BURRUS (b. 22 Sept. 1811, d. 1860), the son of Reuben and Barbary ------- BURRUS, was married to Judith SAUNDERSON. Their children were: Susan, Dorcas, Judith (all died young), Mary Louisa, and Sophia S. BURRUS. Isaih HARRIS SPENCER (b. by 1805, d. 28 Feb. 1842) was the son of Peleage and Mahala GIBBS SPENCER. His wives were 1-Mahettable JENETTE, and 2-Dorcas B. GIBBS. His known children were: Benjamin B. and William John SPENCER. Cornelius S. GIBBS (b. 1814, d. 1892) was the son of Benjamin GIBBS. His wives were 1-Esther -----, 2-Mrs. Comfort ------ Knox, and 3- Penelope ------. His children were: Sylvester Benders, Wilson, Joseph Miller, Thomas Ruffin, Benjamin R., Pelege S., Martha M., Esther, and Emma GIBBS. Samuel SPENCER (b. 1780, d. 1860s) was the son of Benjamin, Jr. and Nancy SELBY SPENCER. He was married to Nancy ------ cnd to the best of my knowledge had no children. Eleazer CUTRELL (b. 4 Mar. 1782, d. 29 Jan. 1859), the son of David and Rachel ------ CUTRELL, was married to 1-Polly Hall, 2-Nancy -----, and 3-Sarah -----. His children were William and William R. CUTTRELL. First William died young. Marcus SWINDELL (b. 29 Oct. 1803, d. 28 Oct. 1864) was the son of Joel and Dorcas ---- SWINDELL. He was married five times, however, the names of wives #1 and #2 are not known. 3-Mrs. Sabra P. FARROW MURRAY, 4-Esther WATSON, AND 5-Eliza Isabella LUTEN. No surviving children. John W. BALLANCE (b.c. 1810-20, d. 1838) was the son of John and Marjery ---- BALLANCE. He was married to Berthania -------. No children. Joseph R. HARRIS (b. 1813, d. March 1859) was married to Courtney ----. They had one child, Mary Elvine. It is believed that his parents were Jesse and Elenah ----- HARRIS. Sanford RICHARDS (b.c. 1790-1800, d. 1846), had a dau. named Nancy Tooley Moore RICHARDS. John A. SEARS (b.c. 1800-10, d. 1837) was probably the son of William SEARS. He married Pamelia TOOLEY and had the following children: William, Wilson H., Henry Bell, Cassandra, and Susan L. SEARS. John B. Smith (b.c. 1809, d.1844), married Philinda ----. William G. HAYS (b.c. 1790-1810, d. 1844), was married to 1- Ann G. JENNETT, 2- Harriet SWINDELL, and 3- Mary -----.
