ROBERT LINDSEY YOUNG

    Funeral services for Robert L. Young who died Friday night at Lakeview 
Hospital, Suffolk, were held Saturday at High Street M.E. Church with Rev. 
Roscoe Jones officiating, assisted by Rev. R.D. Stephenson. The active 
pallbearers were Roger I., Wesley, Carroll, Emory, Walter M. and Ryland Beale, 
Paul Rose and J.K. Gulley of Goldsboro, N.C.  The flower bearers were Misses 
Dorothy Gillette, Varina Pate Britt, Lucile Whitley, Ella and Mary Ellen Wade, 
Alma Bell, Shirley Rose and Margaret Johnson. Interment was made in Poplar 
Spring Cemetery.

   Mr. Young is survived by his wife, Mrs. Janie Lee Beale Young; four children, 
Janie Lee, R.L. Jr., Walter Luther and Hubert; his mother, Mrs. Allie Carter 
Young; one sister, Mrs. Hertford Jones and one brother, Frank Young, all of 
Fairfield, N.C.
