Miller (1923) Membership 97 when merged 17 Pastors served June 28, 1833 Jacob Bostian was Chosen as the Clerk of this Church Book. This Church was under the charge of Rev. Henry Goodman in year of 1833 the following is a record of the Communicants the same year. September 6th 1835 William Lippard is chosen as Treasurer of St. Martins Church. March 26th 1836 Nelson Goodnight is chosen as deacon. May 8th 1836 William Lippard and Nelson Goodnight are Ordained as Elders of this Church. May 8th 1836 Ezekiel Bass is chosen as treasurer of this Church and Wm. Lippard returned to Ez. Bass the money in his hands. April 8th 1837 William Troutman Felix Clodfelter And John Holshouser are appointed by this Congregation as Singing Clerks of St. Martins Church and Jacob Bostian is to continue as Clerk of the Book of Record. The Congregation was taken under charge by Rev. J.W. Hull from reason of Rev. Henry Goodman moving out of the bounds of the same who preached the last regular sermon in A.D. 1840. September 21st 1844 In as much as Mr. Jacob Bostian resigned his office of Clerk of the Book. Wm. J. Lippard is chosen as his Successor and also Chosen as Singing Clerk of this Church. Rev. JW Hull preached for the last year of his subscription September the 4th Sunday 1844. Rev. J.W. Hull preached February 8th 1845. April 19th 1845 Mr. Wm. Troutman was ordained elder of this Congregation in lieu of Nelson Goodnight. April 19th & 20th 1845 The Rev. J.W. Hull Preached on the19th from Mathew 10th Chapter, 2nd verse. On Sunday March 20th the same preached the 16th, 6 & 15th 16th v. May 30th 1845 the same preached an Ordination Sermon from 1st Thesilonians V C. 12 & 13 vers. July the 4th Sunday 1845 the present pastor preached a sermon from Mathew 4th Chapter from the 1st vers. August 20th 1845 the present pastor preached from John 11th 25 v. [remainder illegible]. October 3rd Sunday and previous saturday 1845. We received service from the present pastor from Corinthians the 11th Chapter & 23 v. on saturday & on Sunday from Luke the 15th Chapter from 11th to the end of the Chapter. December 3rd Sunday 1845. [Illegible] present pastor preached for in his place. February the 3rd Saturday and Sunday 1846. Received service from the present pastor on Saturday received a sermon from Rev., 2nd C. V.10 or the late [?] on Sunday from Luke the 11th Chapter. April the 1st Saturday 1846. Prayer service from the present pastor. July 4th Sunday 1846 J.W. Hull preached our services at this place. October the 1st Saturday 1846. J.W. Hull preached at this place. October 4th 1846. The present Clerk of the Church has resigned his office and the council has elected John M. Lippard to execute the same in his place and also Singing Clerk John M. Lippard. December 18th 1846. J.W. Hull the present pastor preached a sermon from Mathew C. 11th 28, 29 & 30th verses. December 27th 1846. The present Pastor preached a Sermon from Second Peter the 1st, 19th & 20th verses. February 19th 1847. J.W. Hull preached a sermon from Luke the 4th Chap. 18, 19th verses. April 18th 1847. J.W. Hull preached a sermon from Luke the 4th Chap. 18, 19th verses. June 5th 1847 present pastor preached a sermon from Luke the 23rd and 46th Chapter. June 6th 1847. The present pastor preached a sermon from John the 13th Chapter 16, 17th verses and the Lords Supper given to the Congregation. July 16th 1847. Present pastor preached a sermon from Proverbs the 4th Chapter 3rd verse. September 25th 1847 (Saturday). Present pastor preached a sermon from Mathew the 16th Chapter and from the 13th verse to the end of the chapter. October 17th 1847.
