SAMUEL ARCHIBALD’S ADMINSTRATORS

     Vs.

WILLIAM ARCHIBALD

Original Attachment, Levied

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the Defendant, WILLIAM 
ARCHIBALD, is not an inhabitant of this State: It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh 
Minerva, that unless the said Defendant appear at our next Court of Pleas & 
Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Iredell in the Court House in 
Statesville on the 3rd Monday in February, 1817, then and there to plead, or 
replevy, judgment will be taken against him for the Plaintiff’s demand.
