A.M. Gillespie v. Sam'l B. Walls

Original attachment levied on Samuel B. Walls interest in Mrs. Wall's Dower of 
land, 500 acres also on the following negroes and other property, to wit - 
Ann, Levins, Little Mary, Jane, Old Mary, Jim, John, Peter, Amelia, Martha, 
Sarah, Washington, Henry, Caroline and child; 13 head of cattle, 4 head of 
horses; 25 to 40 head of sheep; two road wagons and one set of gears, family 
carriage and harness, about 500 bushels of corn, 25 to 40 bushels of wheat, 
library of books, household and kitchen furniture, farming tools, fodder, oats 
and stock of hogs.

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant/defendants, Samuel B. Walls reside beyond the limits of this State: 
It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six 
successive weeks in the Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-
resident to be and Appear at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be 
held for Iredell County at the Court House at Statesville on the 3rd Monday in 
May next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
final judgment will be taken against him, and the land and other property 
levied on condemned to satisfy the plaintiff's demands and cost in this suit.
