James Patterson (1699-1815) –Emeline (McCorkle) Patterson (1718-after 1814)
James Patterson bought land.
1797	15 May.  	Geo. McKay, shoemaker to James Patterson, blacksmith 
for £50, 200 acres.  Situated in the Back Run Branch bounded by lands of 
Daniel MJcKay and Sam Hogston.  Other household items for £53.  Daniel N. 
Haskel, Alexander McKay.
