From the Landmark of Statesville, N.C. March 13, 1885
MRS. MARY ERVIN, who was probably the oldest person in Fallstown township, 
died at her residence near Bell's Cross Roads on the 6th instance in the 94th 
year of her age. Her maiden name was Nesbit. Her husband's name was EPHRAIM
ERVIN and has been dead for many years. They were married about the year 1808. 
Her was a soldier in the War of 1812, in consequence of which service she drew 
a pension during the closing of her life.
