Friday, May 29, 1812,  Raleigh Minerva
   DIED, at his plantation in Iredell County, on Sunday morning, the 17th 
inst., MR. JOHN SHARPE, an aged and respectable citizen; in whose death his 
companions of the Revolution have to lament the loss of a patriot who fought 
by their side with bravery; his wife, an affectionate and tender husband; his 
children, an indulgent and kind father, and his neighbors, an obliging friend.
