Friday, Aug. 14, 1818, Raleigh Minerva
   DIED, in Iredell, on the 6th of July, WILLIAM SHARPE, ESQ., in the 76th 
year of his age, after a protracted illness of several months. He was a member 
of Congress for several years, during the war of revolution and subsequently 
an active member of the state legislature.
