DIED, on the 30th ult., at his dwelling near Statesville, in Iredell County, 
MR. WILLIAM STEVENSON, SR., in the 79th year of his age. He has left an aged 
widow with whom he lived 53 years, nine surviving children and 62 
grandchildren.
