John Grant of the state of N. Carolina, Iredell County Will Submitted by FAYE MORAN In the name of God, Amen. I, John Grant of the state of N. Carolina, Iredell County being weak in body but sound in mind and Memory blessed by God do this day make my last will and testament of all my property that it has been Gods will to bless me with in the first place. I appoint my beloved wife Margaret Grant and my son RobertGrant my full and lawful execution of this my last will and testatment. Item 1. In the first place I bequeth all my real and personal estate to my beloved wife Margaret Grant after all my just debts are paid. Both my land and negroes and all my stokc and all my household and ____________furniture and all other property that I now posess to tedious to mention to dispose of as she sees proper. Item 2. During her lifetime or widowhood and at her death all the remaining ----------the negros and all other property except the land to be publicly sold and equally divide between my three lawful heirs by Robert Grant, Elizabeth Mitchell, and Ann Howard.
