August 23rd, 1838 To the worshipful the Justice of the Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions for the county of Johnston. In obedience to an order of the county court held on the fourth Monday in May last to us the undersigned commissioners directed to divide and appropriate the lands of Barzilla Blackman decd late of this county amongst the lawful heirs (namely) Lucy (or Lecy) wife of Lewis Fail, Darian wife of John Hudson, Bennett Blackman, Barzilla C. Blackman, Patsey Blackman and Edwin Blackman.
