NORTH CAROLINA                     SUPERIOR COURT OF LAW, FALL TERM, 1865
Johnston County

LYDIA P. COX
     VS.                         PETITION FOR DOWER
JAS. COX, et al

It appear to the satisfaction of the Court that JAMES COX and W.A. DAVIS and 
wife, MARION, are non residents of this State; It is therefore, ordered that 
publication be made in North Carlina Standard, a newspaper published in the 
City of Raleigh, six weeks notifying the said defendants to appear at the next 
Term of the Superior Court of said County, when and where they can plead, 
answer or demur, or judgment pro confesso will be taken as to them.
