  From a List of Acts Passed by the General Assembly of North Carolina During 
their Sessions of November and December 1800.
   An Act to amend an act entitled "An Act to empower WILLIAM JAFFER, ISAAC 
WILLIAMS and JOHN STEPHENS, late sheriffs of Johnston County,and others, to 
collect the arrearages of taxes which may be due them respectively for the 
years, 1796, 1797, and 1798.
