I now understand that SAULS has put the Bond into CHARLES COPELAND’S hands, and that it is a plain note of hand for Five Hundred Pounds: COPELAND has demanded payment on the note, and is trying to trade it. I cannot read nor write, and I might have been taken in, but I am apprehensive that this bond is a forged one, and I hereby forewarn any persons from trading the same, as I will not pay it.
