Deed of Sale: Henry Mitchell to John Avera, Land of Jacob Avera

THIS INDENTURE made the 15th day of January One thousand Eight Hundred 
and Eleven Between HENRY MITCHELL and MARY his wife living in Chester 
District in the State of South Carolina of the one part and JOHN AVERA 
of Johnston County in the state of North Carolina of the other part 
Witnesth that where as the said HENRY MITCHELL and MARY his wife for and 
in consideration of the sum Three Hundred Pounds current money of the 
state of North Carolina aforsaid have Bargained Sold _____ Convey I 
confirmed unto the said JOHN AVERA his heirs and assigns forever all the 
rights titles and interest that they the said HENRY MITCHELL and his 
wife MARY have ______ or may ______ hereafter devide in all the Lands 
JACOB AVERA died, seized or posesd or had any right title or interest in 
at his death-----To have and to hold the aforsaid Granted and Bargained 
_____ with all and ______ the rights and priviliges and _______ to the 
same belonging or by any means appertaining to him the said JOHN AVERA 
in _____ simple absolute and the said HENRY MITCHELL and MARY his wife 
do hereby bind themselves their heirs and administrators and assigns to 
Warrant and forever defend the aforsaid Granted and Sold lands and 
premises to him the said JOHN AVERA his heirs and assigns forever.  In 
Testimony whereof the said parties have subscribed their names and 
affixed their seals the day and year above written.

When was the execution of this deed duly proven in Open Court by the 
oath of JACOB AVERA and ordered to be registered.
