Johnston County, NC - James Rose to Nicholas Rose, 1825 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Johnston County Deed Book M-2, pg 445 State of North Carolina, Know all men by these presents that I James Rose Junr of the County of Johnston & state aforesaid have constituted and by these presents to constitute and appoint my trusty friend Nicholas Rose of the same State & County afor'd my true and lawful Attorney in fact for me and in my name and seal and to my end to sell and to dispose of lands in this afors'd state and all other property that I am posses'd with in said state and to collect any sum or sums of money which may be owing or due for the sale or sails of such land and other property and all the debts that are now due me and should my said attorney sell my lands or other property to make deed or deeds or bills of sale in due form of law giving & granting to my said attorney by these presents my full power strength and authority about the premises and generally for me and in my name to do all & every other act in & about the premises as fully as I myself might or could do were I present hereby ratifying & allowing & holding firm & affectual whatever my said attorney may do in & about the premises by virtue hereto In Witness whereof I have unto set my hand and seal this 27th day of January 1825 Signed Seald & Delivered } James Rose {Seal} in Presence of } H.
