Johnston County Deed Book N-2, pgs 142-143 - 177a

5th Sep 1825 - Indenture between Nicholas Rose [attorney for James Rose Jr]
and Ingram Rhodes, all of Johnston County, land on the north and east side
of the great branch of Mill Creek on both sides of the road, Sam'l Ingrams,
Isaac Langstons and Henry Bizzells lines, below the Fayetteville road,
Harper's line, land patented by William Willyham for 200 acres

Another tract on north side of great branch, both sides of Fayetteville road 
being part of a two hundred acre tract belonging to John Harper including 
the house and plantation where Absalom Harper now lives, containing fifty
acres
