Johnston County, NC Register of Deeds
Bk U 2, pg 137 - 345 acres and 9 acres
[Benjamin Rose Sr. sold these same lands in 1821 to his son Nicholas Rose]

Indenture made 6 Aug 1842 between Thomas Right Rose to Benjamin B. Rose both of 
Johnston, for $300 land in Johnston mostly on the north side of Hannahs Creek 
adjacent to said creek, Matthew Mathis patent, Thomas Spikes patent, mouth of 
Stoney Fork, Jacob Woodall Sr. patent, run of Hannahs Creek in the Mill Pond 
containing 345 acres excepted for the use of the Mill.

Also another parcel on the north side of Hannahs Creek adjacent to James 
Woodalls patent containing 9 acres. Witnesses: Saml Lee Jr. and Right A. Adams. 
Registered: November Term 1843.
