Indenture made 14 Dec 1839 between Sarah Rose, planter, to Henry Britt Junr. both 
of Johnston, for $150 land in Johnston beginning at a water oak on the south side 
of Mill Creek in Edward Lees patent line and adjacent to the Rode, black gum on 
the School House Branch, mouth of Henry Britt Senrs. line containing 82 acres. 
Witnesses: James Lee Senr. and Aaron Lee. Registered: 15 Jun 1840.
