Indenture made 25 Jan 1867 between B. B. Rose and Elizabeth Rose administrators 
of A. H. Rose dec'd of Johnston on the one part and Jeremiah Blackman of 
Johnston of the other part; witnesseth that whereas by virtue of a decree of the 
Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions at November Term last the said parties of the 
first part for $657.65 land on the north side of Mill Creek in Johnston Co 
adjacent to a dogwood Rose dec'd corner, A. H. Roses dec'd line, Tarts corner, 
W. N. Roses line, James Roses corner, Rubin Shepards line, A. A. Blackmans 
corner containing 200 acres. Witnesses: John West and Catherine Eldridge. 
Registered: 28 May 1867.
